Technical Information

A significant amount of commitment and self-study will be required to successfully complete the program.

Overview of Schedule

We recommend you allocate several hours of study/work a week for the period of your apprenticeship. Because of the concentrated nature of the vVirtual projects, 6 months with us could be equivalent of up to 12 months of industry IT experience.

Commitment and Suitability

Before deciding whether to apply for a place on the Career Partnership, we recommend that you talk to your partner, family, and friends as their support will be critical over the coming few months.

You should also ask yourself, “Will I be able to fund myself? Or will I continue working?”. “Do I need to look for work, or can I be financially self-sufficient until I start earning?”

To help with cost-of-living during the programme we advise you to apply for a government sponsored, interest-free loan or CDL.

You should expect to be working within six months, although you will be given a maximum of 12 months to complete all work and study. A significant amount of commitment and self-study will be required. Actual time of time of completion will depend upon your dedication to the Career Partnership.

All training is conducted under our own unique curriculum, created on industry standards.

You will be free of the cost of time and money travelling to and from training centre.

Although the apprenticeship itself is UNPAID we help you support yourself during training by allowing you to work full-time, and to participate in studying and project work part-time. Also, you may be offered the chance to earn straight away through paid employment.

As a Hampton Fund apprentice you will be exposed to critical and confidential data and will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement.

Government backed help may be available to cover "cost of living expenses" via a Career Development Loan, depending on circumstances. In most cases, any Government benefits and grants will not be affected.

The Career Partnership is currently only available in the UK, and to those eligible to work in the UK without restriction.
